It may not be appropriate for me, a foreigner, to comment too much on the state of the USA. But I’ve watched from afar what’s been going on. So much has changed in the last few years. The GOP doesn’t really seem to want to do anything but stay on their destructive path. Disappointing.

GOP met its match with Trump. They thought the raging clinical narcissist could be controlled. Now they're discovering that sitting on the dragon's egg for four years hatched an actual dragon. If they follow-through with this idea of splitting the Republican party, they will be fucked for years to come.

Already happening, man. A lot can happen in 4 years, but as it stands now, if Trump is able to run when the next election cycle begins (aka "this September"), I can't see any Republican candidate mustering up the testicular fortitude to run against him for the GOP nomination.
Except perhaps Mick Foley, now that I ponder more deeply on the meaning of "testicular fortitude".
