    Hmm yeah some may consider Quigly and Hidalgo adventure films and Dances With Wolves a drama. So that tracks.

    Yep! But I call them westerns. Same with The Proposition, but that plays more like a classic western theme (outlaws who return for revenge etc etc)

    No they're westerns. I consider Brokeback Mountain a western btw and I think No Country For Old Men could also apply as one.
