Tom Cruise's untitled Space movie (Doug Liman)

So Doug Liman it seems has been involved from the get-go.

    https://www.empireonline.com/movies/...ilm-elon-musk/

Liman, according to Deadline, has ben involved from the get-go, as the man who directed Cruise on Edge Of Tomorrow and American Made wrote the initial draft of the script and is on as a producer in addition to his other duties. This will not be an easy feat to achieve, even with Cruise's legendary commitment and training, but the plan is for him to go to the International Space Station to shoot. There's no word on whether Liman would also go or whether he'd stay on Earth to oversee the film.
So, ah, well, uh there it is. Tom is literally going into space.

Headline could be "Doug Liman Tom Cruise make movie"

    I'm in.

Liman's Go was, and still is, great. The Bourne Identity was so forgettable I had trouble remembering it before it ended. Fair Game was a competently mediocre liberal message movie. I've no real interest in seeing this or anything else he's done--maybe Swingers if I'm suddenly overcome with nostalgia for watching dialogue-heavy '90s indie movies in the early 2000s.

Incidentally, I've never watched a science fiction movie and thought, "You know what would make this better? If the actors were actually in space."
    Just because...
The Fabelmans (Steven Spielberg, 2022) mild
Petite maman (Céline Sciamma, 2021) mild
The Banshees of Inisherin (Martin McDonagh, 2022) mild

The last book I read was...
The Complete Short Stories by Mark Twain

Edge of Tomorrow is kind of freaking awesome.
