Yay

Wow, what a snooze of a film. Bardem stars as a writer suffering from dementia who half-remembers several moments of his life while under the care of his daughter Elle Fanning. In one of these timelines his girlfriend is Salma Hayek and I guess the "road not taken" is the one where he gets to stay with her? The film has excellent performances and a blunt portrayal the calvary of caring about a loved one who's not there in the head (something which I experienced during my ex-girlfriend's mother's last months) but damn does it overstay its welcome, and it's not even that long! The script is way too basic and eye-roll worthy.
