Yay
Nay
I'm not a professional reviewer, I talk about the films I watch here for the sheer pleasure of it, and so it's not often that I get mad at them, particularly not independent ones that need all the support and love they can get. But damn, this is bad. It's like a Woody Allen film if Allen was just a really terrible writer and an incompetent director. And what's really criminal is that it has such a great cast (a mid-movie scene between Tomei and Huppert manages to be poignant solely on the strength of the two actresses) and it makes them look bad.
