At some point, there will have to be an ultimatum regarding both anti-COVID measures and vaccination... New Zealand had one new case after some time (turned out to be Delta variant) and immediately went into lockdown. When they traced the movements of the infected person, turned out that they now have 36 total cases. Now imagine this scenario only with thousands of spreaders, and little to no vaccination and/or measures...
BTW, the authorities have given a green light for a third dose for anyone. If it's been six months since your second shot, you can get a booster. I could be up in a month.
Why it's possible? More than enough vaccines available due to sheer stupidity of the population, so they can pretty much not restrict the usage.
I'm getting the booster shot as soon as I am eligible for one and I know my family will follow suit. Also I might as enjoy movie theaters and the bar before things get even worse. Sigh...

Working on my day off because of a sick call.
First customer of the day is a tough guy biker anti-masker.
*Long sigh* going to be THAT type of day, eh?...

Robert David Steele has died of Covid. This one actually hurts a little, because "secret NASA child slave colonies on Mars" is, by far, my favorite conspiracy theory of all time.
Yeh but calling the COVID pandemic a hoax null and voids all his other wacky ideas.Quoting Mysterious Dude (view post)
I'm proud of my state's vaccination rate.
84% have at least 1 dose / 74% are fully vaccinated
Makes me feel good about the future.
Bahahahaha.
Joe Rogan has COVID.
Hilarious.

Makes me sick to my stomach
My university's positivity rate is only 1% so that's good.
Wonder what comes from Telluride. We all had to provide vaccination records and get a negative covid test within 72 hours of arrival, but that doesn't mean that other visitors or citizens of the city couldn't have brought it onto others.
From what I know, there's a few cases. One is a critic's wife, and then few volunteers that had worked for weeks to help build the theaters. If it ends up less than ten out of the thousands that visited, I'd say that's a success.
Well it is Idaho...the state widely known for white supremacist groups.Quoting Dukefrukem (view post)

Nearly had a shit fit when Jen opened the fridge and found a bunch of Ivermectin.
Thank God it's for a couple of the alpacas.

Two people at my work tested positive for covid. I'm still wearing a mask that's for sure.

Wife and I were at the mall, and there was no crowd at the vaccination point, so we got booster shots of Pfizer. Will report my findings.
Been home from Florida for a week. No symptoms. Also went to Camp John Waters summer camp with 250 crazy folks three days beforehand - we all got tested before we could enter camp, felt good to be there and the work the camp organizers did to make it safe was very sufficient (no indoor events other than dance parties at night, staff all wearing masks). I also tested myself before I went to Florida- luckily disney is hardcore about folks wearing masks everywhere indoors and even within the park, a lot of people wear
masks out in the open. My vacations were a great experience that felt like it was worth the effort and money to do.
I’m still wearing a mask to the grocery store and few places I go, even to see my neighbors kids off to school in the morning. One more week, though frankly… masking indoors is just what I do now no matter what.
Well, here's some good news to keep an eye on:
Got first shot today. It has not been kind. Fever, sweating... been throwing up all afternoon

I tested positive for covid today. I had been feeling sick since Sunday but I thought it was a summer cold or whatever. I thought about calling in on Sunday but I went to work anyways. Hmm gonna see what my work says tomorrow.
