I have an employee who is autistic, and sometimes says things or makes jokes that are deeply inappropriate. But frequently hilarious.

Today a customer came in who wasn't wearing a mask, and he questioned them as to why. They said they can't wear one because they don't have the use of their right arm (bullshit excuse but whatever, not our job to fight).

When the customer leaves, he turns and says "well, I have huge balls but I still wear pants."
    hehehe

NH finally has a statewide mask mandate. Its about time. Cases are going up, unfortunately my town has the third highest number of active cases in the state.

As someone with mild Asperger's that is hilarious.

    I'll turn to a friend

    But everybody's gone
And I've been here for too long
To face this on my own
Well, I guess this is growing up

It has now been more than I year since I've seen my family in Montenegro. Who knows when it will be safe again, we all have a giant surge in cases and a lockdown is looming.

BTW, outdoor seating areas here are mostly open, with propane and electric heaters basically for every table. I've seen a lot of people using those, even though it's getting really cold.
Yeah unfortunately Europe has seen a new surge in cases. Stay safe!

Yay, we made CNN with the church stupidity...

    https://edition.cnn.com/2020/11/20/e...jZ6U9jJG2yNz9g

(CNN)The head of the Serbian Orthodox Church, Patriarch Irinej, died in a Belgrade hospital on Friday after contracting coronavirus, according to a statement from the church.

Irinej, who was 90, led an open-casket funeral service for the church's top cleric in Montenegro, Metropolitan Amfilohije Radović, on November 1.
Three days later, Irinej was admitted to hospital after testing positive for Covid-19.
Amfilohije's body had been displayed in an open casket during the service before being interred in the crypt of the church in Podgorica, Montenegro.
The kicker? When they buried Irinej this past weekend, they had almost the SAME funeral, with only basic "precautions", and the priest who performed the service is also now hospitalized. No one knows exactly how many people contracted and spread the virus from the funerals, but the numbers in Serbia and Montenegro have been surging rapidly on a daily basis.

EDIT: They put a glass shield over the coffin the second time, but people were still walking by in the thousands and kissing the same spot on the glass, so they literally had a guy spray in with some sort of disinfectant (pretty sure it wasn't 70% alcohol, so it wasn't effective) from time to time:

That's big news around my area and it's used as the perfect example to how 1 person can ruin lives and families because of the spider-web effect.

I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

Lots of US politicians being caught defying their own restrictions in the last month it seems, which is embarrassing, and will just make this thing more political than it already is.

Denver's Mayor Hancock literally tweeted to not travel and plan "remote Thanksgiving visits," only to fly to Mississippi thirty minutes later.
California's Governor had a $15k dinner with lots of other high-ranking medical officials and politicians in Napa Valley.
    Austin's Mayor went to Mexico.

    Yeesh.

I've also decided that the US simply has no contact tracing plan outside of just reporting cases and origin, and that's as far as it goes.

Pretty sure they mean WE should follow the restrictions and not travel or see family and friends. Us. The poor. The peons.

They can do whatever the fuck they want.

History has done a great job showing that the rules don't apply to the rich.
"All right, that's too hot. Anything we can do about that heat?"

    "Rick...it's a flamethrower."

In Croatia, they closed the gyms, so the owners of one moved the equipment to a church and continued exercising...

Good friend is in the ICU... 75% of the lungs is affected, he's been on oxygen since yesterday... He's young but overweight and with previous respiratory issues, and STILL had to pull strings to get admitted. Hospitals are at their limits everywhere.

Yeah I read that as well. "Suddenly compelled to buy Microsoft products."

You can't make this stuff up.

It is definitely a joke. Man, the internet has totally ruined dry humor.
