When it started, I was thoroughly horrified. The facial structure isn't 100%, so sometimes the chins and necks of the cats wavers (really freaky). the cats have human hands but their feet are large, off and almost resemble hobbit feet. The bodies are a cat/human hybrid... I'm truly not sure if I will have nightmares tonight or not.
But damn... at some point, I started enjoying the fuck out of this in all its insane glory. The music isn't modern at all - no attempt to update it from my albeit limited knowledge of the show- and feels like something from Broadway in the 80s, but that absolutely adds to the charm. Tom Hooper is a crap director, but this strange, garish musical eventually became oddly entertaining enough that I will recommend this to those who are intrigued and fans. There's no way Hooper will do anything nearly as epic, insane ever again.
But have you seen 6 Underground yet? Or Polaroid?Quoting Ivan Drago (view post)
My biggest takeaway from this whole thing is that this is not how we'll be doing the live action Ninja Kat movie.
The two of you who saw it haven't mentioned this, so I'm assuming it passed by too quick to be of much importance? because looool:
