Sure it may be Hereditary+The Shining, but I was captivated the whole way through, and can't say I knew the direction it was going to take. Leaves room for discussion at the end too, and in a good way.
It does sweep mental illness and christianity under the rug with simple pill popping and stereotypical approaches, but was definitely engaged the entire way through.
I was not a fan. It has it's creepy moments, but the Riley Keogh character left me pretty cold, plus the main twist was just dumb as hell.Quoting Ezee E (view post)
