What if Terminator, but boring? No, seriously, Mickle's operatic direction is fluid and the cast gives it a great shot but there's only so much you can milk out of a terrible screenplay. The whole third act needed to be reconsidered at the very least.

Gaw, I didn't even realize this was Mickle. I saw a reference to it somewhere, looked it up on IMDb, saw that Boyd Holbrook starred, and immediately opted out.

But now I'm curious. I guess this was a work-for-hire thing? Wonder why he did it.
