It's Alive!
Nah
As promised, this is a contemporary version of Frankenstein that remains faithful to the story beats of the Mary Shelley novel while injecting the characters with some more, eh, contemporary motivations like the Iraq War or cocaine (?). It's very entertaining but loosely structured, with too many scenes that go nowhere. It's the first movie I've seen from Larry Fessenden and I'm curious for recommendations as to what to watch next. For some reason I thought he was the director of Pontypool which I haven't seen either.
