Maybe jumping the gun a bit (it will debut later this year), but I loveeee these books as a kid. The film adaptation itself isn't too bad until they butcher the ending beyond recognition. This looks great though!

Eh... Suffers from the same problem as the movie: cast is basically spot on all the way through, it looks great, it's technically and artistically impeccable... but it fails to capture the essence of the material because it timidly focuses on superficial elements. The movie didn't get to delve deeper into the story, perhaps the show will if it lives.
