So, let's discuss animation and stuff!
The best animated shows of my life:
Rick & Morty
American Dad
Metalocalypse
Super Jail
Family Guy
Simpsons
The Cleveland Show
Bob's Burgers
Frisky Dingo
Futurama
Aqua Teen Hunger Force
The Venture Bros
Sealab 2021
Archer
If you haven't watched it, Bojack Horseman would be your speed, Duke.
Apart from the shows I mentioned in the Netflix thread, I also watched/loved Rick and Morty, and have beeen meaning to check out Bob's Burger for quite a long time.
Midnight Run (1988) - 9
The Smiling Lieutenant (1931) - 8.5
The Adventures of Robinhood (1938) - 8
Sisters (1973) - 6.5
Shin Godzilla (2016) - 7.5
I've been meaning to get around to Bojack. Sometimes I've just overwhelmed with options so I like to limit my scope.
Adventure Time is the best cartoon
The severed arm perfectly acquitted itself, because of the simplicity of its wishes and its total lack of doubt.

It gets a little carried away with itself in the later seasons, but the first several are so damn funny.Quoting Philip J. Fry (view post)

Finished Tuca & Bertie. Super deranged animation which feels a little like BoJack Horseman meets Scott Pilgrim. Although the humor was a little hit and miss at first, I felt it got consistently better and better; and just like BoJack Horseman, it shines brighter when it leans on the drama (although it isn't as heart wrenching as BJ, which, being fair, almost nothing is). The cast is good, particularly Ali Wong (Bertie).
My favorite aspect of this, however, is how personal it does feel (specially after seeing interviews with creator Lisa Hanawalt, who does seem a lot like Bertie), particularly with issues like sexual harassment, power dynamics, low self-esteem and that feeling of being stuck and going nowhere. Good show, I hope it gets another season.
I adore Ali Wong.
Found a bunch of animation on Kanopy. Will be diving soon.
This looks awesome. The animation is especially gorgeous.

Came to post that! Animation is so damn good. Also considering his talent, show could be zero to very little dialogue. Considering what story telling shows like Shaun the Sheep could produce, I find this likely.
