AWESOME
Watched a short and an episode yesterday.
Selfie... funny enough for a quick sketch comedy bit.
Cursed Films... first episode focuses on The Omen. Won't get anything new out of it, except that there's some wild looking people that study religions, etc. But it's refreshing to see a movie about movies, and seeing clips is fun. Enjoyed it.
Was going to watch Cursed Films today.
Cursed Films was super disappointing. Wanted more FILM stuff, instead we get Red Sox Yankees rivalry references. And then at the end of the episode, the special effects guy was like: "movies used human skeletons all the time..." LOL.
I heard the last episode is about "Twilight Zone" and Landis and ... yuck.
That they'd make some quasi-documentary out of that and pass it off as light entertainment is pretty gross. Ditto the episode on "The Crow" and Brandon Lee.
Shudder occasionally has bad instinct but this is really bottom of the barrel shit.

Do NOT waste your time on TFW NO GF.
It's literally just a repeat of various lonely losers that use 4chan as their venting board. No insight to psychology. No suggestion of any type of danger... no anything. Terrible.
I have a friend who directed My Darling Vivian, a feature documentary about Johnny Cash's first wife that's in this collection! I plan to watch it over the weekend and couldn't be more happy or excited for everyone involved.

Modern Whore (short) - Could've been interesting, but never quite digs deep to where it should. Pretty stylish for a doc short though.
Le Choc Du Future (feature) - Neat for a while, but for a 90 min feature, it still feels long. After a while, it's kind of repetitive about a musician experiencing a writer's block of sorts. I liked the style, the music, and the processes going in the apartment.
Two days left, will try and watch most of the shorts I'm interested in, and maybe one more feature.
I'm totally going to watch that and you can't stop me.Quoting Ezee E (view post)

I liked The Omen episode! I've been fascinated by "cursed" films for years, so I'm glad someone finally made a doco series about them. The Poltergeist stories alone are freaky deaky. I actually hung out with the late Dominick Dunne's boyfriend in Hawaii recently. Nice older gay guy and an artist. We talked a bit about Dominque Dunne and Griffin Dunne and the Poltergeist "curse."Quoting Dukefrukem (view post)
The biggest disappointment is that Prime is only showing the Omen episode.
