    Also, I feel like this movie, with some of the swoopy camera work and approach to handling effects, owes a firm debt to Jackson's LOTR trilogy. I felt some serious deja-vu watching this re: certain aspects. But I had a lot of fun with Waterbro.

    Eh. I think I liked Justice League better than this (but then, I don't think Justice League is bad). With her limited screentime, Nicole Kidman outranks everyone so much in term of both meshing with the messy goofy tone and bringing grounded pathos to the story that I wish the film is more about her.
