    Perhaps it was to be expected since this was made by Masaaki Yuasa, but this movie is nuts in the best kind of way. Visually it brings Tex Avery, Bob Clampett and Felix the Cat to mind.

    It's kind of difficult to review a film like this since from the first moment it throws away all the rules. Characters staying on model? Why? Coherent plot? Who cares? Rules of physics? Don't need 'em. But what the film may lack in coherence it more than makes it up in energy, experimentation, neverending gags and boundless originality. Really liked it.

    Loved it. Totally bonkers. Has to be one of the most colorful movies ever. I laughed consistently throughout. The English dub on HBO Max is excellent.
