    Green Book is a great 8th round pick up. Has the potential to do very well in my opinion. I was wondering why no-one had taken in.

    Ouch, that is some brutal timing. Skitch, Winston ... I'm afraid I have to ask the replacement or round average question already.

    Fucks sake. I really wanted that pick. I doubt theres anything to beat a round four average, especially with Goosebumps in that round. Round average.

    I thought so too! Especially since I happened to be a volunteer outside its TIFF world premiere and if the sort of effusive reactions people had walking out of it become the sort of word of mouth recommendations it gets in its general release, I can imagine it being significant a sleeper hit. (Just gotta hope it does enough in those first four weeks for purposes of this league!)

    I was still pretty surprised it won the People's Choice Award at the festival because its profile seemed lower than so many other films there, but those who saw it definitely seemed unusually taken by it for it to make sense.

    Also the trailer is very slickly put together, even if I feel like it shows every significant beat of the movie.

    I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

    Picks reorganized by player for my league:

    [
    ]

    Most Likely Winner: If I had to guess, Spinal might have the strongest overall lineup.
    Player With the Best 7-9 Roster: Spinal
    Player Who Loves Those Remakes: Ezee E
    Player With the Greatest Number of Films I Had Never Heard Of: Duke (4)
    Player Most Likely to Have Chosen a Movie Because it Had a Short, Snappy Title: Skitch
    My Biggest Dilemmas: Creed 2 vs. Green Book, Serenity vs. Fighting With My Family

    Based on these easy to read lists, if I could swap my picks with anyone, it would be trans.

    Prediction: Trans to win back to back seasons.

    The one film on trans' list I wonder about is Halloween. Both leagues valued it much higher I did, so I was surprised to see it go so early.

    Did anyone else consider taking a late-round chance on Suspiria? Ultimately, I couldn't convince myself to select arty horror beginning in limited release over a mediocre wide release option. But I thought about it.
