Possession is much better than The Tenant. Polanski has done far better films.
Love Possession but I suppose I should rewatch The Tenant - dang not on Netflix DVD - does their streaming service have it?

I don't think so. I believe I rented The Tenant from my local library.

I'm very happy with these rankings. I dont think I've been so satisfied with MC ranking stuff. Well done everyone.

Do we have a MC hall of fame? If not, I'm going to make a thread for it.

I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

It's really surprising to me that a polarizing movie like mother! has such a strong consensus rating, especially compared to The Fountain which I seem to remember was very well loved around here.

mother! literally took my breathe away. I can understand why some wouldn't like it. But I went into it blind and came away feeling something hither to unheard of. I'd put it up there as one of the most impactful movies I've ever seen.

Truth. I feel like Requiem for a Dream is effective, I've never had a movie make me have to literally pause the movie and lie down because I literally felt ill, but then I'm not really a fan of feeling ill and needing to throw up because a movie prayed on my low blood pressure so well.
