FLCL has previously tackled adolescence, confussion and sex, but is it tackling love now? 'Cause in it's very own FLCL-twisted way, the second episode of FLCL Progressive was all about falling in love for the first time.
And I am loving the inclusion of Jinyu in this show. She's a perfect foil to Haruko and it looks to me that they're setting both of them, perhaps, as metaphors of growing up. The former as turning into a responsible, caring adult and the latter into one of arrested development yet, at the same time, into a more creative person. Anyway, loving this so far.
