I just noticed a few films I saw at TIFF last year were all released this month, so I guess I'll make those threads now.
I don't know how much I can actually say, though, since I saw these seven months ago.

But, I remember liking this one a lot. It's a satisfying blend of documentary and narrative impulses (forget whatever tripe Clint Eastwood is trying to pass off these days), and I pretty much agree with all those raves up there on the poster, minus the obvious hyperbole of "a rare gem" and "one of the most astonishing achievements of recent cinema." It's not that, but it is good, a beautiful, semi-biographical drama directed with a lot of tenderness, care, and insight. There's a subplot that I found particularly heartbreaking, and the way it folds back into the main plot at the end almost moved me to tears.

Amazing movie. Deserves, and will get, a full review from me. I have a feeling that Raiders would dig this movie a lot. I saw it tonight at my local AMC Theatre.

PS: Its listed as a 2017 release on every film site I am a member of, but I saw it in 2018.

True Indie movie right here. Actors we haven't seen, settings that are rarely used, and an affecting personal story. Well done across the board, and probably one that any horse lover would adore. I really enjoyed this.
