That's a shame. It's got quite a few big name actors in its cast, and I got the trailer quite a number of times, so I figured it'd be a bigger release than that.

Just a horrible set of picks no matter how I look at it.
Oh hey, The Sisters Brothers is finally releasing in town this week. With all of 2 showings per day.
Final standings for the 2018 summer league, thanks for playing everyone! Sorry for the delay. I was doing really good keeping up this year than this training for new job dropped on me. See ya in late March for next round!

I don't see it happening.

Woo!
Thanks, Skitch for doing it!
And whew, Winston you came about as close as I feared. If those late wild cards of Smallfoot and Night School had each made even $8 mill more, I woulda been toast.
Great job, all!

Or if I'd picked almost any other movie this year than Action Point...Quoting Henry Gale (view post)
Third place is good enough for me!
Besides, I'll always have first place from a few years ago.

Oof, true.Quoting Winston* (view post)
To think I really considered picking that instead of The Hustle (which was then delayed, and I opted for The Happytime Murders vs. round average). I even had predicted Action Point to make $38 million, around these wildly off guesses:

By the way, when making that post, I noticed that Ezee was over-credited for Operation Finale, which only made about $17 million. The only reason this matters is because it means I wasn't last.

There was one movie (I cant remember which now) that was stopped short of daily numbers but had weekly. It was confusing and didn't add a lot to total or change top outcome so I just went with weekly. BOM can be weird sometimes, but theyre so good the vast majority of the time I don't feel I should bitch too much.
I didn’t cap on anything - just proves the importance of avoiding sub-20 m bombs and getting at least one surprise 100 m hit.
