Christopher Robin is really going to derail me. Damn. Haven't heard a peep about it.
Box Office Pro has it opening at just over 31 million. I think it could go higher.

Looks like I'm not gonna have a single capper this time.

I'm curious how much, if at all, Mission Impossible was impacted by moviepass blocking it off.

Teen Titans Go! was a tough pick.

I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

I may have said this before but I stand by this bold prediction: Teen Titans GO! To The Movies will beat Mission Impossible: Fallout on its opening weekend.

    Mark my words.
I've never been more content with being wrong.

I'm still blown away by Ivan's second round Slenderman pick. Did you watch the trailer to that?
Quote Quoting Ivan Drago (view post)
I did. But the myth is a hit with dumb teenagers and Sony really thinks they have a hit on their hands with it (enough to move it to August and out of the shadows of Deadpool 2), so I couldn't not take a chance on it.
    I hate everything right now.

Because of the 16% RT score or because it being removed from theaters due to stabbings?

Neither. It's only projected to make $9.9 million this weekend. *headdesks*

EDIT: I'm still seeing it out of morbid curiosity.

So in addition to Teen Titans dropping out of theaters after only 2 weeks (at least here it has), I just realized Duck Duck Goose got demoted to a Netflix release. I sure know how to pick 'em.

Yeah, my memory is that we decided to allow replacement picks for bumped-to-home video films starting with this season.

Sweet. Well in that case, let's give a try with The Sisters Brothers.

I would not have guessed that Slender Man would make less money than BlacKkKlansman. Looks like it's barely ahead for the weekend, but that's probably not going to be the case from here on out.
