Yeah, I can see why this was a January release. I thought it looked like it could be interesting from previews, but sadly, this is just a very bland and generic film all around. It could've benefited from having some sense of style or identity, but really, it was just... meh. *shrug*

I'm sorta impressed you managed to see this one, TGM. The studio tried to bury it. They even cancelled announced screenings in and around LA, from what I've heard. It's not playing anywhere!
Really? It's still got showings all day at all the theaters in town, like a regular wide release. o.OQuoting Irish (view post)
Yeah. It's very weird. They didn't screen it for critics and then cancelled public screenings. Cf:Quoting TGM (view post)

Huh. Weird. I mean, it's not that bad. O.o
It is playing in my area. 24% tomatometer? Ouch.

Am I the only one here today?
I wonder why they were so eager to bury this? Why would they do Taraji P. Henson so dirty?
There has to be a story here, like MZS suggests. This can't just be because it's a bad movie (gasp). Because like TGM says, this is pretty run-of-the-mill as far as weekly studio releases go.
Giving up in 2020. Who cares.
