I'm always interested in contemporary portrayals of Christ's story but I don't have faith (ahem) in any of the people involved.
That this is told from a woman's point of view and the trailer immediately falls back on gender stereotypes doesn't bode well:
MARY: I have ... FEELS!
JESUS: Amazing! This all dude band I hang out with never has THE FEELS!
I couldn't even finish that trailer - it was too boring.
