I wonder if I'll have as good of a Match-Cut fantasy baseball draft as I did with the first Yahoo Public league I signed up for in terms of pitching. I doubt it.

Am I the only one here today?
Sure, I'm in.
Keeping up with 4 leagues is going to be a bastard though.
2 more should do it.
Spinal... Raiders?
Sure why not?

When is the draft?

Whenever you need it to be. I've been waiting for you to get into a fantasy league on one of these sites for about 4 years now. Sign up bitch.Quoting Benny Profane (view post)
Who was Benny Profane in old sites?

OK I'll do it.

The new guy requests OBP as a category in place of Batting Average.

I'm lobbying for this in my real fantasy league. We're having a vote at the draft, and I'm trying to get as much support as possible.Quoting Benny Profane (view post)
In other words, I'm totally for it with the Match Cut league. Though I wouldn't mind having both stats.
I'd vote for only one of them. I still stick with batting average because of guys like Adam Dunn who swing for the fence every time.Quoting Kurosawa Fan (view post)
If I can get one more, that would be great. I know you are there Spinaly boy.
What do you guys prefer? Offline draft? We are usually all here most of the time. I think a thread draft would move kinda fast.
Also, I'm thinking of doing a Rotisserie league instead of the usual head-to-head stuff I do on RT.

I only request that it be done through Yahoo if at all possible. Their interface for live online drafts is by far the best if we do it that way.
Also, I'm open to having OBP instead of BA, I just don't want both.
I much prefer an online draft if possible. It's much smoother, and doesn't leave the commissioner hunting people down to get here and make a pick.
I am OUT for a head-to-head league.
I'm fine with an online or thread draft, but I will be on vacation the last weekend in March.

I'm confused on how rotisserie leagues work.
It's an accumulation of stats over the course of the season, as opposed to win-loss record from head-to-head competition on a nightly basis.Quoting Ezee E (view post)

I've never done rotisserie, but I'd be up for it.
I prefer an online draft, especially since I have yet to actually ever be present for a draft in a fantasy league. I just simply take what the auto draft gives me.
The last time I did fantasy baseball I did rotisserie instead of head to head. But I'm used to head to head in fantasy football, and the two other fantasy baseball leagues I'm in are 50-50 rotisserie/head to head. So I don't care which one we do. Either way I'm going to get buried by this thread's batch of baseball fanatics. Hell I'm just a causal fan who loves the Cubs.

Voting for rotisserie as well. Head to head takes too much daily maintenance over the course of a season for my taste.
It's a perfect format for football but not baseball.
Yeah, especially when there are no financial stakes, just pride and bragging rights.Quoting shaun (view post)
