    Well... Can't really argue with that having watched the playoffs closely last year. But I want either Tigs or Bucs to win it.

    Well I captured my second fantasy baseball championship this weekend. It was a close one but I emerged victorious. Feels sweet. I entered the playoffs on a 15 game winning streak.

    Yeah, this is the most likely scenario. The Tigers bullpen is atrocious. Next to zero chance they're making it to the WS. Nathan can't save a game without giving up at least a run, if not more. Last night he blew a three run lead. His ERA this season is 4.98. No one else is any more reliable in that spot. Every time Joba steps in he melts down. They're fucked unless their bats get ridiculously hot.

Not only that, but Verlander is coming in with a 4.54 ERA, Price has been shaky since the trade, and Porcello is Porcello. I've seen this story too many times the last few years. I'd love to see them do it, and will be watching every chance I get, but my expectations are well in check.

    My brother-in-law (normally the most even-tempered, laid-back guy in the world) loves baseball and the O's in particular. Probably the closest I've ever seen him to angry was once when I make a flip remark about Cal Ripkin Jr. and got an intense lecture on sportsmanship.

    Anyway, he is so adorably excited about how well the Orioles are doing. He's been grinning and dancing around, so happy.
