They've clinched a playoff berth, so there's that. Twins are leading the AL Central at the moment, but it's still a bit of a toss-up who will finish first between them, The Chi-Sox and Cleveland.
Losing is like fertilizer: it stinks for a while, then you get used to it. (Tony, Hibbing)

Twins and Indians got the playoffs, but everything is so close that it's hard to tell who they can face.

All things considered, it's been an entertaining season. NL still has several possibilities of who might get in the playoffs.

And I've decided, DH for both leagues should stay... *runs*

Hey, maybe that means the Twins will actually be able to make it past the Yanks this year.
Mmm....nah. But I'm rooting for yah!

The Cubs offense is mostly crap half the time and the bullpen still gives me anxiety. Yu and Hendricks are pitching great though and Mills might have a good future ahead of him.

The Cubs can send out Bote or Schwarber to be the DH if that is still allowed. Smart money is on the Dodgers winning it all.

So many different playoff projections and four teams vying for the last two spots in the NL. Pretty cool.

I won my third fantasy ESPN baseball title this week. Lost in the first round last year and lost two title games before that, all in ESPN. I'm counting it despite the shortened season-I went 5-2 in the regular season, 2-0 in the playoffs.

    3rd place for me.

    Postseason predictions:
    Rays beat Jays 2-0
    Yankees beat Indians 2-1
    Twins beat Astros 2-1
    White Sox beat A's 2-1

    Dodgers beat Brewers 2-0
    Cardinals beat Padres 2-0
    Marlins beat Cubs 2-1
    Reds beat Braves 2-1

    Rays beat Yankees 4-2
    White Sox beat Twins 4-3
    Dodgers beat Cardinals 4-1
    Marlins beat Reds 4-2

    Rays beat White Sox 4-2
    Dodgers beat Marlins 4-1

Dodgers finally pay for their World Series 4-2.

You'll get no argument from me. DH (Nelson "Boomstick!" Cruz) has rapidly become my favorite Twin, and is so popular with the fans that he has a food item named after him at Target field (a 2 foot long chili cheese dog. good luck surviving that one with clean shirt).

    Chili Cruz Dog?
lol. I'd like to see people navigate that down the steps.

It's actually called a Boomstick. I've never seen a fella so focused as the time I saw a guy trying to carry that messy beast through a crowd.

I don't think I can handle the Cubs losing to the Marlins in the playoffs again.

If I had an AL Midwest team it would be the Twins or the Royals. I usually prefer the Athletics though when it comes to the AL because of their history and also because of Moneyball.

Kudos to my Cleveland, and hooray Guardians! Long overdue.

...and yesterday The Twins Braintrust decided to trade Boomstick to Tampa Bay for a few pitching prospects. This year truly has no bottom for the Twins, think I'm gonna check out.

Go Rays! Get that World Series ring around Nellie's finger!

I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

Considering the Cubs will probably trade numerous fan favorites this season, I feel your pain.

Also I don't care for the new Cleveland name but the logo doesn't look too bad.

Is the Field of Dreams game being streamed live somewhere? I don't have cable/Fox.

It's the only cool thing happening for me baseball wise since the Cubs did a tank job fire sale.

Hows much little sports i watch these days. I just learned that the day game of a double header is only 7 innings this year.

    That's wild.
