I hope the Angels pitching keeps on rolling with the Yankees and Rangers coming into to town this coming week.

I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

The way the Tigers have been hitting? Just kidding, K-Fan. Kind of.
It's true. And since that near no-no, Verlander hasn't looked his normal self. This team is just painful to watch. I've stopped tuning in until the bats start working again.

Well its good to know that the Cubs are capable of beating the Padres. I can't get excited when I know that San Diego is actually worse than the Cubs, but hey wins are wins I guess.

NL East is totally crazy. Three games separating first from last. I wonder what the Nats will do with Strasburg.

How about the AL East is "totally crazy". 2 games separating first from last with the last place team (the Sox) having the best winning percentage out of any last place team. (.520)

Gotta roll with him at this point. It'd be insane not to.

I think that Strasburg will hold up, maybe. Reminds me of when the Yankees had to deal with that innings limit for Joba as their playoff race heated up.

Also I will say that the AL/NL Easts are the only main reason to expand the post season. Just because the level of competition in both divisions is really insane every season. Teams like the Blue Jays and the Marlins would probably make the playoffs almost every season if they played in different divisions. Meanwhile both Central divisions are a joke and the West divisions are each too top heavy.

Johan throws the first no-hitter in Mets history. About damn time.

That's awesome. Gotta feel good for Johan. Nice to see him return to form. Although, after 138 pitches (?), perhaps he'll slide back into obscurity/injury.

I've been to a bunch of ballparks and Shea/Citifield on a Friday/Saturday night is a really great time. Phenomenal atmosphere. I missed this no-hitter because I went to softball practice instead of watching, fuck me

I heard he gave up a hit but scored otherwise. Truth to this?

Don't wish that on anyone. My father is from Cincy and I'm attached to both.

Beltran hit a chopper that nicked the line but was ruled foul. Beltran didn't argue.

It was pretty cool, especially since I've always liked the guy. Hopefully this is just another part of his comeback from injury.

Did anyone see the Met's fan run onto the field after the no hitter? LOL I just saw video and was wondering what the people were doing rolling around on the lawn.

Draft day. My money is on Byron Buxton to the Astros. Pretty weak draft, especially in comparison to last year's.

I'm not sure how it's possible to ban someone for any extended amount of time from a sporting event.

Well if he did that will be a problem for this year, but how will they stop him from purchasing future tickets with cash?

I managed to pick him up for one fantasy team, at least.

I have him on the same fantasy team where Pedroia is also injured. Shit...

Trevor Bauer is being called up. If you have a dynasty league he's an automatic pickup. I only managed to get him in 1 of my 3 teams.
