In this particular case things didn’t seem to be as cut and dry as many of the cases over the past couple of years. Many men rightfully lost their careers, and this wasn’t nearly enough to make them pay for the disgusting things they did.

You're probably right because we live in an idiocracy of black-and-white thinking. But anyone with a basic understanding of humans should realize that one experience doesn't negate the other. One person can be both victim and victimizer. The target of harassment can be both male or female. An individual can be both worthy of empathy and condemnation. This is only an issue for people who decide "I am going to always believe X side of the story in every circumstance because that's the ideological team I'm on."
