Having known this was based on real events and not knowing what the outcome was, I was pleasantly surprised at the drama Arnold was able to manufacture (in a certain scene). The overall experience is a mixed bad however. One part "I see what you did there" one part 'what's the point'? No one wins in this tragic story.
