I'd mark out over Kurt Wimmer, but then I realized that the greatness of TV shows are rarely because of their creators.

Whoa whoa whoa... can we wait and see what happens with Mark Walberg as Max Payne first?

They should pass out controllers to theatre audiences. People will be holding them wondering when in the hell it is they'll be able to play.Quoting bac0n (view post)
They should give them controller 2, so the fight scenes can be quick and anti-climactic.Quoting Daniel Davis (view post)

At first I thought this was a crazy rumor, but then I read another article earlier on G4 saying that Hideo Kojima has already approached PTA and said that he is interested.
I dunno what to believe....

Well, those who were wondering where PTA's career would go after There Will Be Blood already have an answer.
That would be the single greatest thing ever, but no way am I getting my hopes up.

If it were true, it'd be on the website cigarettesandredvines which knows all things PTA.
It isn't. So no.

What's wrong with Christian Bale?
"All right, that's too hot. Anything we can do about that heat?"
"Rick...it's a flamethrower."
I don't want to live in a world where one actor plays Batman, John Connor, AND Solid Snake. The guy is just in everything these days. His performances are starting to have the same effect on me as saying a word over and over again does. Besides, Snake is older.

I've only played the first "MGS" game, but that gave me the impression he was probably 30-35. Which would fit for Bale.
The guy's a good actor. If we're gonna have one person play several big roles, I can't think of anyone better to do it.
Though I always thought Hugh Jackman had the right look for Solid Snake.
But yeah, I really don't care about this movie. 'Tis not a game I've held in high regard since I replayed it last year.

Come on, meg, even you have to admit that having Bale play every cool badass in the world of fiction is a bit of overkill.
It's unfair to the rest of the actors.
I love Bale and all, but he's got more then enough on his plate right now.
And I vote NO for Hugh Jackman, too.
“What we are dealing with here is a perfect engine, er... an eating machine. It's really a miracle of evolution. All this machine does is swim and eat and make little sharks and that's all.”
He was actually the first actor that came to mind when thinking Snake.Quoting megladon8 (view post)
I always used to root for Val Kilmer back when I gave a shit about the MGS film adaptation.

Kurt Russell as an older snake would be cool although that might be, uh, typecasting?
I think Hugh Jackman is a good choice. What about Russell Crowe?
Dennis Quaid!!!
