    The Hasbro Cinematic Universe

    Paging Spinal.

Hasbro is becoming Marvel in 2008 by starting their own production studio and will start financing their own movie adaptations. This, of course, will involve connecting them all into a cinematic universe, starting with a G.I. Joe reboot. It's unclear if they eventually want to tie Transformers into it or not.

If all goes as planned, the cinematic universe will eventually incorporate characters from other popular Hasbro properties including ROM, Micronauts, Visionaries and M.A.S.K.

The projects are still in the writing phase, and Hasbro declined to say when the first installment would be released.
    Take shelter in this, though:

Still, Hasbro isn’t rushing to turn every brand into a movie or TV show. For example, Davis said, there are no plans to turn Nerf, Hasbro’s biggest revenue generator, into a movie.

And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, "Come and see."

And there went out another horse that was red, and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.

Are you just going to post this with every cinematic universe that gets announced? Because it's hilarious.... XD

...and given the output of these....it's also unsettling. O__O

    Bumblebee (Travis Knight)

After all the silly, and at times unbearable bayhem of the last 5 movies, I'm actually looking forward to this with some interest and curiosity. I suspect it will be dramatically different and better than what came before.

Travis Knight made Kubo and the two Strings, one of the best reviewed movies of 2016.

Really hope it's good. Felt a twang of dissapointment when the trailer showed another Transformer, was hoping it was just Bee and Girl.

Honestly didn't even realize this was happening, hadn't kept up with it. But it's nice to see Carly Rae Jepsen getting some work outside her field.

(If this can manage some Iron Giant levels, I might finally be able to say I enjoyed a Transformers movie.)

Yeah, that trailer does look good. AND it's a new director, finally. But after the last one, I'm still not sure I'm quite ready to dive back in just yet. Hmm... :\

I like the throwback look. Has a good chance of being decent.

Looks bad, but infinitely more interesting than anything in the Bay garbage fires.

At least the Transformers look like...you know...Transformers.

And props for what looks like some decent Cybertron stuff.
