I mean, maybe, but I think it's more likely that Trump and his admin are going to gauge the optics/messaging and see if there are any ways to stem the bleeding for the moment. Trump is already testing out "This happened long before my campaign," even though the year ranges in the Mueller document include 2016 and 2017.
