Things I like:
The aesthetic
The new bad terminator guy
What looks like a Terminator vs human burly brawl... we never got that in the first movies
The music, remind me, did they not use that Terminator music in any of the other movies? (T3/salvation/the last crappy one?)


Things don't like:
CGI looks unfinished
Goofy duplication of bad terminators
Aged Terminator Arnold
What appears to be the finale set piece in a crashing cargo plane
The dialog: "If you dont make it... everyone dies" yeesh

Disagree with Morris.

It looks the same as the last. I mean, it's a Terminator movie for sure and it's very proud of that but at some point I wonder how, in 2019 with the real world on fire and governments in active peril, we're supposed to care about this shit. Pre-apocalyptic movies set in the present day don't comfortably feel like fantasies anymore.

Especially since the movie's premise --- that mankind's fate is sealed and our destruction inevitable --- becomes downright depressing if you consider it for more than half a second.
