Yeah, I really need to pick a better SPG hotel. I'm usually at the Sheraton Minneapolis West (right by Ridgedale Mall) but there's not much around there.Quoting bac0n (view post)

That's actually not as bad as you might think. 10 minutes east on 394, you're downtown and the best craft beer scene in the Midwest. 10 minutes west and you're at the best lake in America. All you need is someone to show you what is where. I'd be happy to help.Quoting Ezee E (view post)

Sweet. I'll be there sometime in the ice cold.Quoting bac0n (view post)
I have liked Wayzata. Got taken to a good restaurant called Cov. Overpriced, but it wasn't on my dime, or my team's budget, so yay!
Oooh, we should go sledding!
Wayzata is a nice enough town, but I grew up on the other side of the lake, in Excelsior, which is vastly superior, in my 100% absolutely unbiased opinion.

Now Im picturing you two sledding like Calvin and Hobbes, but naked with specialty beers.

We'll of course need to cut a hole in the ice and finish with a dip in the lake. Scar has a nice camera. I'll have him take pictures.Quoting Skitch (view post)

I haven't gone anywhere further west than Wayzata, so that could be fun too.
Due west of Wayzata it gets boring and fast, but if you go southwest there are some lake drives that are amazing.

Major layoffs over here.... how's the morale there?
Sometimes, only sometimes, hard work pays off.
You work for Dell, huh... ever work with Partners (resellers)?
I've worked with partners in the past, but not for several years. The company I worked for that was bought by Dell was 100% channel partner sales, so lots of work back in the day (10 years ago already) geared towards keeping them happy. But these days, I am in an entirely different area.
