Draft order for League B is TBD. We still have a slot open if someone else wants to play. Otherwise, we will go with a 5-person league.

League A, you don't need for me to give you the go-ahead on Friday morning. Once the designated time arrives, fire away.

Looking at releases through the end of March or the beginning of March? 3/31/17 is the last eligible release date, yeah?

Correct. March 31st is a Friday. So, films released on that day will be eligible for this season.

The winter season has a lot more moves as far as dates go, and that really changed things last year. Pick wisely!

Yeah, I mean, there's probably no harm in it. But I wanted to give people some warning to get prepped and whatever. If you feel prepared and want to start making picks, have at it. But try not to start heckling people for taking too long until Friday.

I would've preferred starting the draft later. Allows more time for dates to solidify and trailers to come out. But its casual, I'll roll with whatevs.

Well, I think that was a pretty successful first day. Why don't we take a break?

I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

After that it becomes very murky.

I'm going to go by stats here and what is the more likely higher grossing movie?

Doctor Strange or Moana. And I'm picking Moana- all the efforts Disney is doing making female lead animated movies. I want to see a Frozen bump from Moana.

Doctor Strange is safe, but it could end up doing Ant-Man money. I want that $200 cap.

I didn't even hear of Fantastic Beasts until a month or two ago. The marketing is either slim or I'm sleeping in a box.

You're sleeping in a box on this one. I've gotten that trailer for almost a year straight now, with the latest version even featuring JK Rowling explaining how this is connected to Harry Potter, for those not in the know.

This might be a very interesting draft because it's the one time I've actually seen a bunch of the movies coming out over this time frame. Same with Ezee (though I'm surrounded by a lot of die-hard HP fans in my life so I'm already sick of hearing about it).

I ain't saying which I think are hits 'til after though.

After the second round, there's a lot more potential of movies having a gross of anywhere from $10mil-$150 mill.... I'll talk about this one, because I'm avoiding it for that reason... Arrival. What the heck is going to happen there? It could be lost between Fantastic Beasts/Dr. Strange and make $25 mill, or it could get nominated for a bunch of Oscars, and cruise on to $100 million. So hard.
