Feinnes is on fire in this and the rest of the cast is solid. But it falls apart in the last act and ends with a whimper. Enjoyable first 2/3-ish.

Yes, its not amazing beyond the cast but goddamn if this movie hasn't made me listen to Emotional Rescue nearly every day since I've seen it.
There's a solid 90 minutes of brilliance in this that made me think I was watching a missed masterpiece. Last thirty minutes still has something going for it, but it doesn't stick the landing.
Luca really knows how to get the most out of his scenery and nuances out of people. There's certainly bits of that throughout Call Me By Your Name. I can't wait for Suspiria.
THis may be Ralph Fiennes' best role in the 2000's. Shit, everyone's top notch here, even Dakota Johnson.
