Anyways, this was nice. Animation kinda bugged me in a few spots (that opening zoom on the building looks like an old flash animation) but otherwise I liked it. Appreciated the way it relied on humor in the first half to build the relationship, provides for a good contrast given the short runtime. The revelation with the x-ray hit surprisingly hard. It might be a little obvious in retrospective, but I enjoyed how the spacesuit was just a metaphor. That's good sci-fi! I really don't know what to make of the ending, though. Felt a little outta left field.

I didn't really care for this one. The shifts in tone don't really work for me and I don't find the animation style pleasing. Probably my least favorite of the animated shorts nominated.
