That's new information but I heard those rumors a couple of weeks ago when the movie was reportedly being worked for Disney+.
Get me Kosinski and Daft Punk and I'm cool with Leto. Dude can act, imo.

Really, all that matters is Daft Punk.

    Black Bear - ***
    Minari - *** 1/2
    Borat Subsequent Moviefilm - ***

Not even Tron 3 could get me to sign up for Disney +. I'll wait for it to hit Blu-ray.

Maybe Daft Punk can do a score that actually sounds like Daft Punk.

    That would be nice.

Well, it definitely will not sound like the first movie, that's for sure. They don't do that.

lmao this is gonna be such a circus. Gleeson is rocking that impersonation tho. (Does he say "loyalkee"? is that like a "strategery" jab?)

Potential leaked poster for The Witches, remake by Zemeckis, screenplay co-written by Del Toro and produced by Cuaron.

It's a bit of a busy poster, but I kind of like the gang of witches hovering in the background watching over things. For some reason, Octavia Spencer is playing the Grandmother, which seems a little surprising given her age. Would have thought she'd be perfect for the GHW's assistant [
    ].

I seriously hope they go with a legit practical makeup transformation rather than let Zemeckis's natural instincts guide him to cgi. I'd expect the mice to be all-cgi, if I had to guess. Tucci is the hotel manager, surely.

I love the original movie so fucking much. I hope this isn't a let-down.

Why is it so hard to have the names under the pictures of the people?

Difference between balanced visual proportions and billing of actors, usually.

But it does annoy my compulsiveness.

I realize this may be stretching the boundaries of what qualifies as a "film," but look at this:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ada9SU8tShA

Someone watched a bunch of Boston Dynamics videos and their rants on Facebook weren't getting enough attention. (The effects aren't bad tho.)

Just cross-posted to Netflix thread as well.

Is Hammer supposed to be British or something? I couldn't really tell if there was a lilt of an accent in there. KST looks marvelous as usual.

Rumor is that Hardy secured the new Bond.

    Could be total bullshit tho.

Last I heard it was Henry Cavill.

I'm not believing anything until there's an official announcement.

I doubt both of those castings as well. While I really like both actors, I'd prefer they do something else. Let Clive Owen have it. He rocks and deserves a career boost anyway.

He's about 15 years too old at this point.

I wanted him instead of Craig.
