Hmm, I dunno, I would watch that (preferrably not sober).

Not sure I've ever seen a trailer showcase what is most likely every effective (and expensive) VFX shot in an entire movie. Maybe two and a half minutes of I, Frankenstein is the perfect length to digest it, especially since it really did seem to give away all of its story and interesting visual moments, but I can't bring myself to say I hated that, as idiotic as it undoubtedly all was. Like honestly, why bother even making it a Frankenstein story?
Last 11 things I really enjoyed:

    Speed Racer (Wachowski/Wachowski, 2008)
    Safe (Haynes, 1995)
South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut (Parker, 1999)
    Beastie Boys Story (Jonze, 2020)
    Bad Trip (Sakurai, 2020)
    What's Up Doc? (Bogdanovich, 1972)
    Diva (Beineix, 1981)
    Delicatessen (Caro/Jeunet, 1991)
    The Hunger (Scott, 1983)
    Pineapple Express (Green, 2008)
    Chungking Express (Wong, 1994)

That title really bugs me. A big chunk of the original book is already from the monster's perspective.

I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

I don't understand the premise. What do Angels and Gargoyles have to do with Frankenstein? Why is it called I, Frankenstein, when it's about his monster?
I've read the (pretty shitty) comic it's based on. Basically, the monster is now a private eye going by the name Frank Stein. He's also a superhero who protects innocent people at night from other monsters for free.

I was actually just reading about Matt Damon and he’s like, ‘There’s a culture of outrage.’ I’m like, ‘Well, they have a reason to be outraged.’ I think it’s a lot of dudes just being scared. They’re like, ‘What if I did something and I didn’t realize it?’ I’m like, ‘Deal with it.’

There was one scene where a client asked him, "Stein? Are you Jewish?" and Frank goes, "My father was German, so he could be."

This premise is so far-gone stupid it comes out the other side and becomes awesome. (At least in theory; that trailer is decidedly not awesome).

Why does Hollywood feel the need to turn every figure from 19th century literature into some half baked action hero, spy, or super sleuth?

Because Hollywood desperately needs brands to sell action tentpoles, and public domain brands are the cheapest ones around.

    Hah!

"I told him I didn't even care about them taking over the planet or whatever, and the martian said something I couldn't understand that made me think he was a goddamn moron, so I said so. He said he wasn't, but all morons do."

Started out as public domain characters in cliche genre movies, transitioned to Catcher in the Rye (Spun called the hero William Holden instead of Holden Caulfield).

The reviews for "Enough Said" with Julia-Louis Dreyfus and James Gandolfini are exceptional. 95% on the T-meter with 7.7 avg rating.

Hurray for romantic comedies that are actually good.
