    And it actually looks....good???

Amazing that David Schwimmer went from Little Britain USA to...that.
Well, let's not forget he did Run Fatboy Run too.

And I also enjoyed the Arthur trailer quite a bit, despite some of the overused music choices. Mind you, I just really like Brand and everyone I see in the cast, and I also happen to like Modern Family which is where the director, Jason Winer, comes from. Apparently Winer even took the script to the writer's room of the show to help out punch up the jokes before shooting.
Last 11 things I really enjoyed:

    Speed Racer (Wachowski/Wachowski, 2008)
    Safe (Haynes, 1995)
South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut (Parker, 1999)
    Beastie Boys Story (Jonze, 2020)
    Bad Trip (Sakurai, 2020)
    What's Up Doc? (Bogdanovich, 1972)
    Diva (Beineix, 1981)
    Delicatessen (Caro/Jeunet, 1991)
    The Hunger (Scott, 1983)
    Pineapple Express (Green, 2008)
    Chungking Express (Wong, 1994)

I don't know if it's rewrites or just marketing, but they've amped Susan's character way up and don't mention him falling for a new girl at all.
I think it's Greta Gerwig who's supposed to be that other role. I think it's just that Jennifer Garner happens be the other character instead of how much she may actually play into the movie. If the actresses were swapped between them, then we'd likely see the trailer focusing more on the storyline you're talking about. Not to say Gerwig isn't great, just not a recognizable, big name yet.

Paul Thomas Anderson and John Hillcoat getting their next movies funded by a 25-year old party girl, that decided to use her millions for cinema. Her first attempt being True Grit.

Indeed, wonderful news. I'm very interested in The Wettest County in the World. Hillcoat directing a truly great cast. And more PTA is... well, you all know how it is.

    God bless you, Megan Ellison.

I think her brother should get the credit here. He was the one who went to USC and made short films and then decided he's better off financing films instead, and his sister followed his footsteps. I think she's just getting more press on this because a couple of years ago she's all over tabloid as a useless party girl.

I was actually just reading about Matt Damon and he’s like, ‘There’s a culture of outrage.’ I’m like, ‘Well, they have a reason to be outraged.’ I think it’s a lot of dudes just being scared. They’re like, ‘What if I did something and I didn’t realize it?’ I’m like, ‘Deal with it.’

So apparently Dreamworks has bought the rights to a script about the real-life friendship between Arthur Conan Doyle and Harry Houdini. It'll be a fictionalized story in which they work together to solve murders around London.

    However...

I was talking to a friend and he brought it up, and said how "it's about the REAL LIFE friendship between Sherlock Holmes and Harry Houdini!"

Wow...I had no idea that Sherlock Holmes was a real person!
"All right, that's too hot. Anything we can do about that heat?"

    "Rick...it's a flamethrower."

Lynne Ramsay has a new movie coming out called We Need to Talk About Kevin. Radiohead's Johnny Greenwood is doing the score. It has Tilda Swinton in it. Sounds good! (title blows)

So apparently our girl Megan has gotten the North American rights to WKW's latest The Grandmasters and plans to finance its release.

I want to marry this girl.
    Sure why not?

Her fortune comes from the profits of Oracle, a company I despise, so this is all a little bittersweet.

There's a sequel to Julie Delpy's Two Days in Paris coming out with Chris Rock instead of Adam Goldberg. Strange.

I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

Anyone heard of Session 9's Brad Anderson's film Vanishing on 7th Street?

    http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1452628

It's playing at my arty theatre. Looks pretty interesting to me.
