I haven't read the book, but I am half in-love with Michael Fassbender so I'm okay with it. Dude is the tits.Quoting Katiescarlett (view post)
It really is good. The first time I tried to read it I got so scared that I had to abandon it and pick it up again about five years later. (Nightmares. No joke.) Lots of gothic creepiness and a surprisingly passionate, unusual love story.Quoting amberlita (view post)

hahah, I love amberspeak. You will love the story. You should totally try to read it if you've never seen a version yet!Quoting amberlita (view post)
I think William Hurt has been the best Mr. Rochester for me so far. But I think Toby Stephens is hawterQuoting Mara (view post)
I am so pissed that Alan Rickman never played Mr. Rochester. He's a little too old now, unfortunately.Quoting Katiescarlett (view post)

Yoji Yamada (Twilight Samurai, Tora-san) is going to direct a modern update of Ozu's Tokyo Story. I will watch this.
Hmm... I'm skeptical. Remaking one of my favorite films probably won't end well, regardless of the talent behind it. That said, I will see it.Quoting Sycophant (view post)
Christina Hendricks expressed interest in Wonder Woman.

That sounds awful!Quoting Dukefrukem (view post)
Hideo "Ringu" Nakata's newest The Incite Mill is awful.
"Over analysis is like the oil of the Match-Cut machine." KK2.0
It's all right. It's strangely devoid of Nakata's great ability for creepy atmosphere and the reality show commentary is seriously half baked, but it's sort of intriguing while it lasted.
Movie Theater DiaryQuoting Donald Glover
It is. Though I am annoyed by how the rules of the game seem to be constantly shifted and disregarded. The script feels like it wasn't thought through carefully enough.Quoting number8 (view post)
And the "guard", ugh! I hate that thing.
