Wes Anderson's next film is gonna be called Moon Rise Kingdom. Ed Norton, Tilda Swinton, Bruce Willis, Frances McDormand and Bill Murray are all in talks to star

Moon Rise Kingdom is set in the 60s. Two young adults fall in love and run away. Leaders in their New England town are sticking the idea that they've disappeared and go in search of them. Norton will play a scout leader who brings his charges on a search. Willis is in talks to play the town sheriff who’s also looking, and who is having an affair with the missing girl’s mother, the role McDormand is in talks to play. Murray, a regular in Anderson films, will play the girl's father, who has his own issues.
Set in NE in the 1960s + directed by Wes Anderson = whitest movie ever?

I was actually just reading about Matt Damon and he’s like, ‘There’s a culture of outrage.’ I’m like, ‘Well, they have a reason to be outraged.’ I think it’s a lot of dudes just being scared. They’re like, ‘What if I did something and I didn’t realize it?’ I’m like, ‘Deal with it.’

I take it you're a fan of Days of Our Lives and As the World Turns, then?

I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

Yeah. And thinking of Cusack as Poe is hilarious, though I confess that I am not being gracious. He's a fine talent, but thinking about his more aggressive mannerisms filtered through Poe-like brooding is pretty funny.

So I guess Carey Mulligan is going to be in Baz Luhrmann's The Great Gatsby.

That struck me as a good choice .. but then I think somebody has Mia Farrow's 60s era pixie-cut stuck in their head, too.

God helm Luhrmann for thinking that book is at all filmable.

I just saw an ad for a film called The Warrior's Way. I'm not sure I've seen a less appealing, more ridiculous ad in my life. It looked atrocious.

The western elements and Geoffery Rush are the only things it has going for it. The action sequences appear beyond ridiculous, and not in a good way.

I think I prefer the "WTF?" reaction of the cowboys in Cowboys and Aliens over the ultra-lame, "Dang. Ninjas," reaction to ninjas in The Warrior's Way.

They really need to stop mining Facebook apps for movie ideas.

Hmm... after about seventeen disappointing productions, dare I say the new Jane Eyre looks kind of good? Lush and gothic, lots of horror and passion. They make the lovely Mia Whosit look quite plain. Rochester is still too young and handsome, but what can you do.

That. Looked. Awesome. yea! The only complaint I had was the fact that he's still too young and hawt, but still.... it looks way creepier than any of the others I've seen. I'm excited for this!
