The John Wick guys for Bloodshot is a no-brainer. I know Marvel fans were hoping Marvel would get them for Punisher but I guess Valiant stole that thunder.

Were there rumors about this? Or just "best fit" / ideal scenarios? I haven't heard of any Punisher reboots as of late.Quoting number8 (view post)
No, there is no active Punisher project in production. I just remember when John Wick came out, there were plenty of "If Marvel were smart they'd get these guys to reboot Punisher" posts.

Punisher would be fantastic for Netlfix. I'll always hope, but I don't think we'll see anything anytime soon. At least not before 2019.
As for Bloodshot, I read these in the 90s along with another comic that I can't remember right now. He always seemed like a really generic "tough guy"- not sure what Sony plans to do with him. I'll probably check out some of the more recent stuff.
Honestly, I'd rather see Harbinger and Bloodshot at this point than another X-Men or Punisher.

So yes.Quoting number8 (view post)
But have you read Bloodshot? He seems like such a pieced together freak of a superhero- Part Blade, part Wolverine, part Deathblow...... There's really nothing interesting going on here. He even had his memory wiped like Wolverine.
Yeah, and Harbinger is very derivative of X-Men. I read both of the relaunched books. They're very well written. Way more than X-Men and Punisher are currently. So there is that.

Vin Diesel is Bloodshot.

Huh.
I'm willing to bet this doesn't happen once Sony sells their film and TV assets.

I'm excited for the next stage of comic book movies. Shit is going to get weirder and I'm all for it.
Think they ever dive into the clone world of Spider-Man?
Probably animated, but sure.
I guess this is Rated R

So...he doesn’t actually look like Bloodshot?
My initial thoughts too. I guess they felt like it wouldn't translate to live action.Quoting megladon8 (view post)
Huh. Interesting.
Well that feels less spoilery than the first trailer.
So this is absolute garbage, as if anyone expected otherwise.
