Haven't heard too much Tom Waits, but according to Limewire (in which it may not even be him), there is a collaboration he does with Primus called, "On the Road with Jack Kerouac" and it is awesome.

Can anyone confirm that this is Waits?

No, but you just confirmed that people are still using Limewire, which blew my mind.

    Pay Tomorrow, by Tim Exile

This guy is approaching the same level of Eno, Fripp, Byrne, et al. The way the disparate parts of his compositions blend together, allowing the songs to morph from one tempo to another is masterful, and the atmosphere created by the noises and melody is freaking awesome.

Exile is one of those guys who thinks about music on a level that most musicians can only dream of.

    I am in awe.

Been listening to a lot of Bob Marley for the last 24 hours, for the first time. Especially "Three Little Birds." This is the last time I let my pothead sister's fondness for something deter me from checking it out.

Where has reggae been all my life?

Welcome! I totally dig raggae, but I've never been into Bob Marley for some reason.

You might want to check out:

    The Abyssinians
    The Melodians
    The Pioneers
    Groundation

and if you get into dub-reggae, check out:

    Roots Radics
    Scientist
    King Tubby

Thanks for the recs! I definitely wanna check out some dub reggae, so I'll be looking into those, too.
