If I don't come in here and post this at least once a year (you know, to indoctrinate you new ones), then I just don't feel like I've been doin' my job.

I was just thinking, dear God why, the whole time. I was so distraught by my suffering that for a good 30 seconds I forgot I could make it stop whenever I wanted.

Mr. Ambulance Driver-The Flaming Lips. Just felt like listening to At War With The Mystics again, and its still a great album. This is one of my favorite songs by the band.

D, I thought the Bohren and the Club of Gore stuff sounded like outtakes from an unreleased Lynch film, but the Dale Cooper Quartet & the Dictaphones have really nailed it! Outstanding.

Yeah. In general, I prefer the Bohren albums, but that Dale Cooper album is pretty sweet.

Just picked up NIN's Broken and Springsteen's Nebraska today. Putting on Nebraska right now. It's kinda Dylan-y.

Nebraska is a great album, although I don't think its as good as The Ghost of Tom Joad. Atlantic City is easily one of my favorite Springsteen songs-you can really sense the desperation and fear of failure echoing through the lyrics.

Was recently given MGMT's Oracular Spectacular and wondered why I hadn't bothered before. I'd heard Fade to Pretend numerous times and enjoyed it, but I never bothered with the full album. These guys are pretty talented.

"Kids" gets overpayed a lot here in LA, but I still love "Electric Feel." Great disco vibe.

AH! Robyn has become my new obsession lately. Something big on the debate charts for me lately.. is the Robyn from Bonnaroo the same Robyn from the '90's?

Was her 90s album titled Robyn Is Here? If so, yes.

Electric Feel (Justice Remix) - MGMT

I don't know which French techno duo is more awesome, Justice or Daft Punk.

I love both MGMT albums. Oracular Spectacular I like better, but that's only because its more radio friendly and less weird. Still, I enjoy Congratulations, and both get the same rating overall.
