It's good, but it really doesn't cover much that Greenwald's initial reporting didn't already spell out first. I'm a bit perplexed by the huge critical support, since I think you can wait until it inevitably winds up on Netflix and Amazon. There's nothing overwhelmingly cinematic about it that requires you to see it in a theater.

Nah, I think the craft on this is amazing. The subject itself is fascinating enough, but Poitras is one hell of a filmmaker.
I saw this with friends who had only a very vague understanding of what the Snowden/NSA affair actually meant. Oh, and I also found Beau and his girlfriend on my way out. We walked under a soaking rain for like twelve blocks.
