"I was totally alone in the theater for the matinee showing of As Above, So Below, a truly terrible horror movie that cobbles together stuff from Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, Flatliners, Blair Witch Project, and The DaVinci Code (advanced degree in symbology!). This was HORROR-CORE NATIONAL TREASURE--which means it was actually amazing."

I can't figure out what this movie is about. As in what's the threat? Is there a monster? Ghosts? Zombies? Or do they just get lost?

They're digging into the catacombs under Paris in search of the philosopher's stone, and the further along they go, they gradually find themselves being lured literally into Hell, which is where the Inception BAWMS apparently originate. :P
