    Wow, that's subtle as hell.

I was actually just reading about Matt Damon and he’s like, ‘There’s a culture of outrage.’ I’m like, ‘Well, they have a reason to be outraged.’ I think it’s a lot of dudes just being scared. They’re like, ‘What if I did something and I didn’t realize it?’ I’m like, ‘Deal with it.’

I've only been watching select episodes out of order. . .but this show is fucking incredible.

    "ZOMBIES!!!"
"Don't panic! Maybe they're just a really ugly flash mob!"

You should watch all of the episodes. There's not a single one I could call "meh".

Almost a year since I started this thread so I forgot where it was, but finally got around to the last two episodes.

    They were very great.

Only downside is now I don't have any more new ones again and that might've been its biggest cliffhanger to date. I love this show to death and cherish the fact that its production is traditionally animated and not Flash-based like so many others nowadays, but holy gawd is the unpredictable scheduling hard to take.
Last 11 things I really enjoyed:

    Speed Racer (Wachowski/Wachowski, 2008)
    Safe (Haynes, 1995)
South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut (Parker, 1999)
    Beastie Boys Story (Jonze, 2020)
    Bad Trip (Sakurai, 2020)
    What's Up Doc? (Bogdanovich, 1972)
    Diva (Beineix, 1981)
    Delicatessen (Caro/Jeunet, 1991)
    The Hunger (Scott, 1983)
    Pineapple Express (Green, 2008)
    Chungking Express (Wong, 1994)

It will be back on July 13.

"I hope this aligns with my fanfics, Stan!"

That was a spectacular return. And that last scene with Mabel and Dipper was so poignant.

Such a good line. I like this explanation and I'm stoked that JK Simmons got himself another regular voice over gig now that Korra is over even though he's an Oscar winner now. They need a new central mystery, though, and I hope it'll be as good.

They already have it: what's behind that portal? What danger does it pose? What did McGucket saw there that made him want to practically lobotomise himself?

And Stan and Ford's bad blood's provides such a good new conflict!

Ehhh, it's a good new plot, but not much of a mystery. They've got someone who lived there for 30 years. He can just tell them what's behind the portal. If he doesn't for whatever reason and that becomes the central mystery, that's going to be pretty annoying.

At least it's going on a super high note. It's been just consistently brilliant all the way, hell, this last episode was almost perfect, from that Wendy/Dipper scene, to the flashbacks and Jon Stewart!!

    I'll miss this show.
