I work in grocery. I have not gotten sick. My fellow employees have not gotten sick. If the virus were even remotely as contagious as its being presented as, why haven’t entire store staffs who come into contact with hundreds of people per day, thousands per week, all falling ill in mass nationwide?

I'm only getting it in December, since it's being imported from the UK. I will show it off once it's in action.

I hear Casper is great for sleeping but awful for sex.

    Possibly relevant to your interests:

    - Busting the mattress racket (2014)
    - More on the mattress racket (2014)
    - Intrigue in the online mattress review world (2017)
    - The war to sell you a mattress is an internet nightmare (2017)

Apparently, Casper has sued bloggers over their affiliate marketing relationships, which sounds bizarre for a mattress company.

For things like this I default to The Wirecutter / Sweethome: https://thewirecutter.com/?s=mattress

This is good info. I went to a regular furniture store to buy a mattress... the experience was actually pretty fun. They ask you a bunch of questions, you lay down on this machine and it pinpoints where the most pressure is on your body... then they pick out a mattress they think you'll like based on your answers and the data. You lay on it. Say Yes or No. And depending on your response, too hard, too soft, too whatever, they take you to two more mattresses to arrive at one that best meets your needs. They have a formula to do this. The one I arrived at was over $2k.

The one I bought yesterday was less than half of that. So this is new territory for me. Full review of my Casper mattress next Tuesday when it arrives on my doorstep.

In the age of so much media ready to consume at a streaming button press, I tend to wait to buy physical media between black friday and new years (basically when I get my bonus and have some disposable income too). Everything is so much cheaper and I am patient. This week it began.

    Here's the list...

    Blu-rays:
    The Accountant
    Automata
    Blair Witch
    I Saw The Devil
    Lost City of Z
    Seventh Son
Suicide Squad (Because I buy all comic book movies)
Ghost in the Shell (I don't know why, I'm glutton for punishment I guess)
    Street Fighter: Assassin's Fist

    DVD:
    Colossal
    Shin Godzilla
    T2 Trainspotting
    Teen Titans: The Judas Contract
    The Void

    VHS:
    The Deer Hunter
    The Maltese Falcon
    Messenger of Death (Cannon w/Bronson)
    The Caine Mutiny
    The Last Detail

    PS3:
    Rage
    Deus Ex: Human Revolution

    I've spent $36 so far.

That reminds me Skitch, I think I am getting ready to purge my Blu-ray collection in favor of digital purchases.

In the next couple of days I'm going to post them here. MC gets First available, the rest go on Amazon.

    Cool!

Added these blus to the stack today for $22:

    A Cure For Wellness
    Arrival
    Ip Man 3
    Noah
    Resident Evil: The Final Chapter

    Terminator Genisys
    Warcraft
    XXX: Return of Xander Cage

The nice part is that of the ones I haven't seen, I got them cheap enough I could trade in for a profit across the street.

Usually if there's over 100 reviews, and the negative ones are all pretty similar, I avoid.

    So I haven't partaken.

When it comes to furniture, I go cheap. Big Lots has some nice stuff cheap. Sure, it wears out quicker than expensive stuff, but who wants the same couch for 15 years? I'd rather replace every 5-7. Hell, probably last twice that if you don't have kids or pets. Kids destroy everything.
